Ways to Participate
PROJECT PURPOSE is your pathway to future employment! Our goal is to provide students the necessary guidance and training to equip you to enter the workforce right out of high school.
There are 3 key ways to engage with PROJECT PURPOSE:
- Senior Day | College Campus Tour
- Get2Work | Boot Camps
- Exploration Day | Job Fair
- Participate in Club Days with Industry Guest Speakers
Senior Day | College Campus Tour
On Senior Day, Southern Regional Technical College hosts Colquitt County High School Seniors for an in-depth tour of the Moultrie campus and overview of educational program offerings. Students also engage with local employers over lunch in a targeted Industry Exploration Fair.
Get2Work | Boot Camps
Two boot camp tracts designed for fast-paced preparation, credentialing, and interviewing for a select group of seniors. Upon completion of the boot camp, students will be guaranteed interviews with participating companies with entry-level positions available. They’ll also leave with OSHA and forklift certification (manufacturing tract) or customer service training (healthcare / general customer service tract), a professional resume, and top-notch interview skills through a curriculum led by SRTC.
Exploration Day | Job Fair
On Exploration Day, local businesses and high school seniors unite. In a job fair format, Colquitt County High School students circulate through the employer showcase to learn about the jobs available right now in our community.
