Speed Networking

In preparation for the upcoming Job Fair, local business and industry professionals will participate in a dynamic Speed Networking event with select senior students. This fast-paced, interactive session is designed to boost students’ confidence, sharpen their communication skills, and help them feel at ease “working the room” when they attend the Job Fair later this school year.

Beyond building networking skills, this event also offers students an invaluable first introduction to some of the businesses and organizations that will be present at the Job Fair — giving them a head start on making connections that could shape their future careers.

Reverse Job Fair

The Reverse Job Fair flips the traditional format — putting students in the spotlight. During this event, Work-Based Learning students will showcase their skills, qualifications, and real-world experience gained through their placements. Armed with professional portfolios, students will present their achievements, training, and career readiness to a panel of business and industry volunteers.

This unique approach allows students to practice professional self-presentation and gives employers a firsthand look at the next generation of talent preparing to enter the workforce.
