Get2Work | Boot Camps
Two boot camp tracts designed for fast-paced preparation, credentialing, and interviewing for a select group of seniors. Upon completion of the boot camp, students will be guaranteed interviews with participating companies with entry-level positions available. They’ll also leave with OSHA and forklift certification (manufacturing tract) or customer service training (healthcare / general customer service tract), a professional resume, and top-notch interview skills through a curriculum led by SRTC.

The Boot Camp will be held at Colquitt County High School, with a few experiences off-site at Southern Regional Technical College. Transportation will be provided by Colquitt County Schools for off-site activities.
Students are expected to provide their own transportation to and from CCHS each day. Transportation will be provided to off-campus experiences by Colquitt County Schools.
There are two tracks (contingent upon number enrolled): Manufacturing & Healthcare / General Customer Service.
Each track has 12 spots, so it’s important to register early!
Several trainings and certifications will be provided (based on the track you choose):
- Customer Service Training
- OSHA Certification
- Forklift Certification
- Basic Industrial Systems Certification
- General office procedures and processes
In addition, you’ll have guidance on writing a professional resume and learn some top-notch interview skills.
Think of the Get2Work Boot Camp as a fast-paced “foot-in-the-door” to local industry jobs. We won’t be putting you through rigorous physical training like an army boot camp, but we will challenge you to bring your best game mentally and emotionally each day.
